SADO, adhering to the overall humanitarian principles, norms, values and working together with partners, will follow the main strategic directives and guiding principles:
- Discrimination Principle :- The principle of non –discrimination regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, culture, religious or tribal identity applies. The receiving community will play a leading role in the process of planning and implementation (participation).
- Support to Special Needs Groups :- children, women and elderly (non-combatant) considered in various modalities whenever appropriate.
- Diverse Implementation Modalities :- Diverse implementation modalities in terms of type, scope geographical level, ensure flexibility and accommodate the changing environment, bilateral / multilateral negotiation, various management modalities, crosscutting issue and community participation.
- Coordination & Collaboration :- Coordination and collaboration with relevant stakeholders for effective implementation of programmes, collaboration in relevant cases for sustenance and continuity of programmes.
- Transparency, Cccountability and Flexibility:- Transparency, accountability and flexibility, the program will be engaged to the standard policy, plan and implementation procedures.
- Flexibility :-- Flexibility to adapt and accommodate the volatile post –conflict situation in general i.e. timing and location of vocational training. No pressure will be put on the participants to choose between education and vocational training: Promoting unity, coexistence, and collaboration among diverse groups.
- Accountability: Being answerable to the people we serve, partners, and stakeholders.
- Transparency: Acting with honesty and openness in all our operations and decisions.
- Equality & Inclusion: Ensuring fair access and participation for all, regardless of background or status.
- Resilience: Supporting communities to adapt, recover, and grow stronger from crises.
