Core Values
SADO upholds humanitarian principles, norms, values, and collaborates with partners to advance strategic directives and guiding principles, including:
- Non-discrimination: we treat all people with dignity regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, culture, religion, or tribal identity, and we emphasize community-led planning and implementation (participation).
- Inclusion of Special Needs Groups: we prioritize children, women, and elderly non-combatants, ensuring their needs are addressed through appropriate modalities.
- Flexible, Diverse Implementation: we employ varied modalities in type, scope, and geography to adapt to changing environments; this includes bilateral/multilateral negotiations, multiple management approaches, cross-cutting issues, and strong community participation.
- Coordination and Collaboration: we work with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation, sustainability, and continuity.
- Transparency and Accountability: we adhere to standard policy, planning, and implementation procedures, maintaining openness and responsibility in all actions.
